Qualified Employer Limited License Application (2024)

In order to complete this application, you must be applying for a limited license under Rule 15-304 or 15-305 NMRA. If you are any other type of applicant, please exit and apply with the correct type of application.  Application fees are not refundable and are set by the Rules Governing Admission, which have been adopted by the New Mexico Supreme Court.  You may email info@nmexam.org with any questions about the application itself.  After you begin your application, please use this portal for communication with the New Mexico Board of Bar Examiners.   If you are applying during the months of February or July, please understand that we are preparing for, and administering the bar examination and our response time may be delayed.  For technical issues, please contact Submittable directly using the link at the bottom of this page.  

Please note: your application will be processed in three steps.  After you have completed the first portion of the application, we will review the application and send you both steps two and three via this portal.  We will also file the Motion for Temporary Limited License when Stage 1 is complete, and we have determined that you have met all qualifications.  You must still complete Stages 2 and 3 for a final recommendation of admission. Applications expire after twelve (12) months from the date you file your application.
